Kathryn Jones Douglas is a Human Resource Management professional with more than 20 years of strategic and operational experience in people management and mobilization, and administration. Over the years she has served government, private sector and civil society sector organisations in the areas of: designing and delivering quality capacity building interventions, change management and institutional strengthening services.
Kathryn’s interventions have led to reduced turnover and demonstrably increased employee engagement. She has also tooled company leadership for and managed the precise alignment of staff performance with strategic goals and guided executives on all aspects of human resource management including HR Risk Management, Labour Laws and Industrial Relations practices. Adept in unionized environments, Jones Douglas served as the liaison to the recognized majority union on employee relations issues as well as the finalization of collective agreements.
Kathryn Jones Douglas has a B.A. in Human Resource Management from the Anglia Polytechnic University (now Anglia Ruskin University) and subsequent certification in The Law, the Employer and the Employee (HRMATT), Art in Facilitation (Veni Apwann), Compensation and Benefits (HRMATT), Industrial Relations Management in Trinidad and Tobago (ECA), Training of Trainers (UWI, Institute of Business), Facilitating Experiential Learning in the Outdoors, TetAnsamn Ltd. (Trinidad) and Stucki AG (Switzerland), and Mediation (Catherine Ali).
